About the Team:
Focused on providing comprehensive People support, the team aims to create a healthy, safe, and productive work environment for all members. By developing data-driven solutions aligned with Parity's vision, the team plays a crucial role in promoting excellence and growth within the organization.
Collaboration is key, with close coordination between the People Support team and various departments such as Talent, Finance, Legal, IT, and Operations. Together, they form the global Operations Support department, working towards the shared goal of advancing decentralized technologies for the Web.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage core People Operations functions including onboarding, payroll, document creation, employee data management in the German entity
- Stay current on HR laws and trends in Germany to ensure compliance
- Coordinate with external partners on employment law, social security, and immigration matters
- Serve as a contact person for Germany-based employees, escalate issues, and support team success
- Assist the People Team in other locations as required
- Spearhead new People Operations projects and suggest process enhancements
- Support employee issues resolution and manage departures
- Collaborate with the legal team on new policies, work permits, and visas
- Ensure accurate payroll processing and compliance with employment laws and company guidelines
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field and 2-4 years of HR experience in Germany
- Proficiency in international HR principles, compensation, employment law, and compliance
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and make sound decisions
- Flexible, creative, and collaborative team player
- Experience with HR information systems and HR operations tasks
- Proficient in MS Office, Slack, and Google Suite
