Responsibilities
- Assist in managing Ledger's IP portfolio, including trademarks, patents, product design, domain names, and more.
- Support key projects related to the protection and launch of new products and services.
- Draft and negotiate various contracts with a focus on procurement, IP licensing, and marketing in collaboration with the Commercial Legal Team.
- Conduct legal research tasks as needed.
- Offer support on disputes and contentious matters, such as brand protection through actions like removing phishing websites and fake social media accounts.
- Be prepared to provide support across a range of IP areas based on Ledger's evolving business needs in a fast-paced industry.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a career in law with a specialization in IP law or new technologies law.
- Previous internship experience in IP law is preferred.
- Familiarity with blockchain technology and Web3 or a strong willingness to learn about these areas.
- Background in the technical or engineering field is advantageous.
- Proficient in written and verbal communication, drafting, and presentation skills in English.
- Ability to manage ambiguity, along with being proactive, self-motivated, and prioritizing effectively.
- Capable of building solid, trust-based working relationships.
- Detail-oriented with the capacity to analyze and simplify complex issues.
- Flexible and adaptable to change with a solution-oriented approach.
Compensation:
- Bac+5/Master 2: €1,500 gross/month
- Bac+4/Master 1: €1,000 gross/month
