Position Overview

Toku is seeking a skilled payroller to support our Payroll team in various aspects of payroll processing and key projects. The ideal candidate must excel in establishing processes, entities, and best practices with minimal supervision, particularly focusing on Spanish payrolls.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and organize payroll data for submission to payroll providers
  • Coordinate data submission to suppliers across multiple countries via different methods
  • Communicate with payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely processing and address any issues
  • Review and reconcile payroll data promptly to ensure compliant and accurate payments
  • Act as the primary point of contact for both internal and external payroll inquiries
  • Maintain up-to-date records, processes, and procedures
  • Assist in implementing new country-specific payrolls and transitioning between providers
  • Independently troubleshoot and resolve payroll issues efficiently
  • Provide support coverage as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum three years of experience in Spanish payroll processing
  • Proficiency in payroll best practices and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, collaborate with teams, and engage externally with vendors
  • Strong organizational and time management skills in an agile environment
  • Fluent in Spanish and English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of additional languages and experience with non-Spanish payrolls
  • Prior exposure to handling crypto compensation
