Key Responsibilities:
1. IT Systems & Infrastructure Management
- Setup and maintain Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems on user devices and servers.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance to ensure stability and security.
- Manage hardware and software installations, upgrades, and configurations.
- Monitor IT policies adherence for system security and compliance.
- Support the department head in securing and ensuring the reliability, resilience, and recoverability of IT assets and systems.
2. IT Device & Asset Management
- Oversee company IT assets, including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
- Maintain inventory tracking, procurement, and proper disposal of IT equipment.
- Enforce IT policies for device security such as encryption and access control.
3. IT Support & Incident Management
- Provide technical support for IT-related issues to employees in-person and remotely.
- Document common troubleshooting steps and create user guides.
- Utilize helpdesk or ticketing systems to track and resolve IT incidents efficiently.
4. IT Vendor & Budget Management
- Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers for hardware, software, and networking solutions.
- Procure and manage SaaS applications, software licenses, and IT service contracts to stay within budget.
- Coordinate with external vendors for repairs, upgrades, and support as required.
5. Security, Risk & Compliance Support
- Collaborate with the security team to ensure all IT assets comply with security policies and best practices.
- Conduct user access management, access reviews, and vulnerability patching.
- Assist during audits and due diligence assessments on IT-related matters.
- Assist in maintaining a register of critical systems identified through business impact analysis, in collaboration with various business functions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in IT operations, system administration, or IT support roles.
- Proficient with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
- Experience in system updates, patch management, and troubleshooting IT issues.
- Familiarity with IT asset management and device setup.
- Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft 365 Administration.
- Ability in managing IT vendors and service contracts.
- Strong understanding of basic networking and IT security practices and frameworks.
- Effective problem-solving skills and ability to handle ad-hoc IT operational issues.
- Good communication skills for interaction with engineering, DevOps, and security teams.
- Experience with helpdesk or ticketing systems like Jira, ServiceNow, or Zendesk is a plus.
