About the Role

As a Junior Consensus Algorithm Developer, your role will involve contributing to the development and enhancement of consensus algorithms in the Xnode data network. You will collaborate with blockchain development teams to ensure the seamless integration and optimization of these algorithms, which are crucial for the decentralized nature of the open web3 data network. This role will allow you to be part of the development of one of the world's largest open data clouds and analytics engines, with the potential to shape the next decade or two.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance consensus algorithms in the Xnode data network.
  • Collaborate with the blockchain development team to integrate and optimize consensus algorithms.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in consensus algorithms and blockchain technology through continuous research and analysis.
  • Optimize existing consensus algorithm code for performance, scalability, and security.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and test consensus algorithm improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Knowledge of blockchain fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Go, or Rust.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Familiarity with different consensus algorithms, such as Proof of Work and Proof of Stake.
