We are in search of a detail-oriented and dynamic KYB COE Specialist to join our KYB Center of Excellence team. This pivotal role involves bridging the gap between Operations and Compliance to ensure efficient, compliant, and up-to-date processes in compliance with the latest regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for KYB processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with the compliance team to interpret and implement regulatory changes into KYB processes and SOPs.
  • Regularly review KYB processes and SOPs to identify areas for enhancement and compliance improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with operations, compliance, legal, and product teams to seamlessly integrate compliance requirements into KYB workflows.
  • Offer guidance on KYB compliance matters to the operations team.
  • Develop and coordinate training initiatives on KYB processes and compliance requirements for relevant staff.
  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes impacting KYB processes and recommend necessary adjustments proactively.
  • Participate in regulatory audits and examinations related to KYB processes.
  • Prepare and deliver routine reports on KYB process performance and compliance metrics to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a similar role within the financial services or cryptocurrency sector.
  • Profound understanding of KYB regulations and best practices, particularly in the cryptocurrency industry.
  • Knowledge of AML/CFT regulations and their application to business onboarding processes.
  • Experience in process improvement, project coordination, and SOP development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project and stakeholder management.

Strong knowledge of AML/CFT laws and regulations.
Exceptional analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
