Key Responsibilities:
- Curate, exchange, and impart industry best practices for customer identity and access implementation in both frontend and backend applications.
- Lead ongoing monitoring and guidance on developers' utilization of JWOT and other access tokens throughout Circle's solutions to mitigate risks and proactively address issues.
- Collaborate on an Identity and Access Management (IAM) architecture framework aimed at enhancing existing IAM components to address security risks and align with long-term objectives.
- Evaluate the current privilege access management landscape, focusing on how it pertains to Circle's unique position, in order to secure organizational alignment on implementing appropriate solutions.
- Work closely with the Security team to enhance overall security measures that mitigate potential risks to our enterprise.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 5+ years of identity architecture experience with a track record of implementing identity and access systems in multiple programming languages.
- Passion for developing scalable and adaptable security management solutions.
- Proactive, self-driven problem solver capable of working independently and efficiently.
- Strong teamwork skills, particularly in high-pressure environments.
- adept at managing multiple priorities and adjusting priorities according to shifting demands.
- Proficiency in IAM protocols like SAML, OIDC, OAuth, and PAM.
- Familiarity with IAM technologies from providers like Okta, Ping, Sailpoint, Savant, or Microsoft.
- Knowledge of standards such as ISO 27001/27002, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, with prior experience in financial services or financial technology sectors.
- A degree in computer science, computer engineering, cybersecurity, or a related field; relevant experience will also be considered.
- Background working in an AWS environment preferred, proficient in languages such as Python, Golang, or similar.
Payment and Benefits Package:
- Competitive compensation ranges negotiated based on experience, skill set, qualifications, and organizational requirements.
- Starting base salary range: $145,000 - $192,500
- Potential for an annual bonus up to 15%
- Comprehensive benefits package including equity, medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)
- Generous discretionary vacation policy, along with 10 paid sick days and 11 holidays annually in the U.S.
