Responsibilities
In 2020, Circle rolled out a comprehensive suite of solutions and intelligent technology enabling businesses to accept payments globally, at a larger scale, and with heightened efficiency compared to conventional banking protocols. As part of the Circle Security Team, your mission would be to safeguard Circle, its customers, clients, partners, and the interconnected financial platforms critical to our operation.
The Circle Threat Intelligence Program concentrates on researching various threats targeting the company and the blockchain/Web3 sector. By refining and validating intelligence, the program aids internal stakeholders in making well-informed decisions and comprehending the risks to which the organization is exposed.
As a Threat Intelligence Analyst, your primary responsibility at Circle will involve overseeing the daily operations of the Threat Intelligence Program during the US timezone. It is a pivotal role demanding proficient monitoring, categorization, and evaluation of incoming threat intelligence feeds based on defined Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIRs).
Key Responsibilities
- Continuous monitoring, prioritized assessment, and triage of inbound threat intelligence feeds
- Responding promptly to Requests for Intelligence (RFI) requests
- Developing threat intelligence reports, verbal briefings, and self-service intelligence distributions
- Implementing automated workflows for collecting, enriching, and disseminating threat intelligence through SOAR and TIP platforms
- Nurturing relationships with internal and external stakeholders within the industry
- Contributing to the progression and enhancement of Circle's Threat Intelligence Program
- Assisting with ongoing threat detection exercises

Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in cyber threat intelligence, particularly focused on blockchain and Web3 research
- Profound understanding of cybersecurity threats, threat actors, and the threat landscape
- Proficiency in SOAR platforms and developing automated workflows for intelligence collection and enrichment
- Demonstrated expertise in complex SQL queries for threat data analysis
- Skill in utilizing commercial and open-source intelligence platforms for threat analysis and gathering
- Strong written and verbal communication skills tailored to diverse stakeholder groups
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritize effectively in a fast-paced setting, and adapt to new technologies swiftly
- Comfort engaging with senior leadership and effectively articulating complex security risks to varied audiences
Additional Information
This sole position based within the US timezone requires independent work and adept handling of multiple priorities with minimal supervision. Successful candidates must be proficient in communicating risks effectively to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
Benefits
- Starting pay range: $145,000 - $192,500
- Annual Bonus Target: 15%
