We are looking for a skilled Legal Counsel to join our team. This role is crucial in overseeing our legal matters related to investment and financing, ensuring compliance, and managing risks across our operations. Responsibilities:
- Conduct preliminary reviews and provide interpretations of legal documents, focusing on investment contracts, corporate governance, and compliance issues.
- Collaborate with external legal counsel and advisors to handle legal processes and disputes related to investment and financing transactions across different jurisdictions.
- Perform regular compliance audits to ensure adherence to company policies, regulations, and best practices in investment and financing activities.
- Participate in contract negotiations, draft and review agreements to protect company interests, specifically focusing on investment agreements, funding documents, and financial instruments.
- Draft and maintain user agreements, ensuring compliance with laws and effective data protection.
- Maintain and update company legal documents, ensuring secure and accessible digital storage.

- Identify and manage legal risks, stay informed about relevant laws, and represent the company in legal proceedings and negotiations as necessary.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is required.
- Licensed to practice law, preferably in the jurisdiction where the company operates.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of legal experience in investment and financing law required. Experience in corporate governance and compliance is a plus.
- Proficiency in both Mandarin and English for effective communication is necessary.
Offered Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 per year
