Role Overview

Joining Binance Research as a Macro Research Analyst presents an opportunity to influence how the market perceives digital assets. As part of the team, you will be responsible for producing original research covering macro, crypto, and industry themes. Your role will involve crafting narratives that shape the market's understanding on a weekly basis, bridging the traditional-finance landscape with the crypto economy. Your insights will reach a diverse global audience through one of the most widely read research brands in the crypto space, fostering media coverage and institutional interest while providing strategic intelligence crucial to the organization. Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality research focusing on macro, crypto, and Binance-related subjects, introducing new ideas, frameworks, and methodologies while establishing connections between the macro environment and the crypto economy.

• Utilize market data, on-chain data, and various sources to create robust models and clear visuals to support the team's decision-making processes and research.

• Lead as a forward-thinking figure by staying abreast of market trends, assessing risks and opportunities, formulating unique perspectives, and contributing to significant discussions on topics ranging from the macro landscape to tokenization, DeFi, and institutional adoption.

• Collaborate with teams across the organization to track and synchronize narratives, ensuring that research outcomes align with broader business objectives and market developments.

Requirements

• Possess 3+ years of experience in crypto research or relevant fields, or 5+ years in consulting, venture capital, or traditional finance like investment banking, asset management, or capital markets.

• Demonstrate a profound understanding of macroeconomics and market dynamics, along with the ability to connect the traditional-finance realm with the crypto economy.

• Showcase a history of innovative thinking by developing distinctive viewpoints, creating new frameworks, and influencing prevailing narratives.

• Proficient in sourcing, organizing, and analyzing large datasets from diverse origins to produce analysis ready for publication.

• Proficiency in financial modeling tools, with experience in Python or R for data manipulation and visualization, and familiarity with SQL or other data querying methods considered a bonus.

• Self-motivated and collaborative, with strong work ethics and the capacity to perform effectively in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related fields is preferred; possessing a CFA certification is advantageous.
