Manager/Director, AI Innovation for Risk Management (US)
The exchange team is responsible for developing and maintaining an advanced trading platform that offers a seamless and secure trading experience for clients worldwide. The team spans across regions including APAC, EMEA, and North America, with a focus on delivering cutting-edge solutions.
We are looking for a talented individual to join our risk department as a key contributor, focusing on driving AI innovation for data analytics and risk management in the North America Derivatives Exchange and Clearing business.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement AI/ML models and tools to improve data and risk analytics, real-time monitoring, portfolio risk analysis, and decision-making automation.
- Analyze extensive structured and unstructured datasets to identify patterns, anomalies, and emerging risks.
- Lead the design and implementation of generative AI, large language models, and NLP solutions for various risk-related activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate scalable AI systems into existing platforms.
- Spearhead applied research initiatives to enhance data and risk management capabilities using the latest AI technologies.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in developing and deploying AI/ML solutions, with a minimum of 1 year in LLMs, NLP, or agent-based systems.
- Proficient in Python and SQL, with a strong background in data science libraries.
- Solid knowledge of quantitative finance, statistics, or applied mathematics; familiarity with trading data and market microstructure is beneficial.
- Experience in deploying models in real-time or production environments, with some familiarity with cloud platforms and regulatory frameworks.
- Ability to translate research and emerging AI technologies into practical solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and proficiency in collaborating across different teams.
