Manager/Director, Enterprise Risk Management, US
The team behind the development and maintenance of a state-of-the-art trading platform is expanding its reach on a global scale spanning across multiple regions. Their primary focus is on delivering a secure and seamless trading experience to clients.
We are looking to onboard an enterprise risk manager for the risk department responsible for overseeing risk management in our Derivatives North America (CDNA) Exchange and Clearing business.
Responsibilities
- Identify and document various risks affecting the Exchange and Clearing House operations
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and devise strategies to mitigate identified risks
- Contribute to refining and upholding the risk management framework by implementing relevant policies and procedures
- Develop risk metrics, establish risk reporting systems, and promptly escalate critical risks to key stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to effectively manage and monitor risks for internal and external audit purposes
- Drive enterprise risk management activities including risk assessments, business impact analysis, and business continuity planning
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in fields like Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, Computer Science, or Engineering; Master's Degree or relevant certifications preferred
- 5-10 years of experience in risk management, preferably in financial services or exchange investments
- Proven track record in identifying, evaluating, and mitigating financial, operational, and IT risks
- Proficiency in risk reporting, enterprise risk management, business continuity, and disaster recovery
- Strong grasp of risk management frameworks and industry standards
- Ability to perform data analysis, utilize risk assessment techniques, and statistical tools
- Excellent communication skills to engage with various teams, and articulate risks effectively to top management
- Fundamental understanding of IT and cybersecurity risks, backed by experience collaborating with tech teams
- Basic programming skills in SQL and Python
