Job Overview:

As the Marketing Lead for Anichess, your role is pivotal in conceiving and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to advance our state-of-the-art chess education platform. Anichess uniquely combines artificial intelligence (AI) with chess instruction to offer tailored learning experiences. We desire a skilled marketing professional to steer Anichess's expansion through impactful marketing campaigns, brand positioning, and customer acquisition endeavors.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement marketing strategies to enhance brand recognition, user acquisition, and customer loyalty for Anichess.
  • Establish and convey Anichess's distinctive value proposition, ensuring consistent and captivating brand messaging across all marketing platforms.
  • Strategize and execute digital marketing campaigns, encompassing SEO, PPC, social media advertising, email marketing, and content marketing to bolster website traffic and user engagement.
  • Collaborate with the content team to craft top-notch marketing resources, such as website content, blog articles, social media content, videos, and other promotional materials.
  • Supervise Anichess's presence on diverse social media channels, fostering community engagement and promoting brand advocacy.
  • Forge and nurture relationships with pertinent industry influencers, media channels, and strategic allies to boost brand visibility and stimulate user acquisition.
  • Analyze and track marketing campaign effectiveness, website metrics, user conduct, and feedback to refine marketing strategies and support data-informed decision-making.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, conduct market research, and scrutinize competitor actions to identify opportunities and retain a competitive edge.
  • Lead and coordinate the marketing team, providing direction, setting objectives, and nurturing a cooperative and results-oriented workplace.

Requirements:

  • Possess a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related discipline; a master's degree is advantageous.
  • Exhibit proven experience (8+ years) in marketing capacities, particularly within the tech or education realms.
  • Maintain a sound comprehension of digital marketing channels, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Demonstrate a history of devising and executing marketing strategies that propel user acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Showcase exceptional written and verbal communication skills, adept at crafting compelling marketing content.
  • Proficient in marketing analytics tools and platforms for measuring and enhancing campaign performance.
  • Show familiarity with chess and/or the chess community as a beneficial asset.
