Media Relations and Event Manager (Crypto Exchange)

Job Overview:

We are in search of a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the role of Media Relations and Event Manager in a newly established crypto exchange platform based in Dubai. The selected candidate will be tasked with developing and implementing media and event strategies to bolster the brand presence in the cryptocurrency and Web3 realms.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement event plans that align with brand strategy and market requirements, encompassing industry conferences, exhibitions, webinars, AMAs, and product launches.
• Handle the complete event life cycle, starting from conception and budgeting through vendor selection, venue management, promotion, execution, and post-event follow-up.
• Work closely with various teams such as marketing, social media, content creation, design, and others to ensure seamless alignment of event planning and execution with overall branding and marketing strategies.
• Cultivate and nurture relationships with external partners, vendors, and sponsors to ensure successful event delivery.
• Elevate brand influence and awareness through strategic events to boost user growth and community building.
• Develop and implement innovative event promotion strategies to broaden target audience outreach, enhance brand exposure, and drive user engagement.
• Monitor and analyze event performance metrics like participation rates, user feedback, and social media engagement.
• Produce event summary reports and recommend enhancements based on data insights to optimize future events and maximize ROI.
• Identify and evaluate potential event risks, develop contingency plans, and manage on-site challenges for seamless event execution.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in event management or related fields, preferably in the cryptocurrency or blockchain sector.
• Proficient in planning, executing, and overseeing both virtual and physical events.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination competencies, with a track record of successful collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
• Proficient in data analysis to fine-tune future event strategies based on performance indicators.
• Ability to adapt quickly and resolve problems effectively in high-pressure scenarios.
• Creative thinker with strong execution capabilities, comfortable working efficiently in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
• Fluency in English is essential, additional languages are a bonus.
