At our company, we are focused on developing the most innovative digital asset platform tailored for institutional use in the realm of cryptocurrency. Anchorage Digital operates as a comprehensive crypto platform facilitating institutional involvement in digital assets through various services such as custody, staking, trading, governance, settlement, and robust security infrastructure.

Anchorage Digital, including Anchorage Digital Bank N.A., the first federally chartered crypto bank in the United States, aims to serve institutions through multiple branches such as Anchorage Digital Singapore and Porto by Anchorage Digital.

Our company has received funding from prominent institutions like Andreessen Horowitz, GIC, Goldman Sachs, KKR, and Visa, with a valuation exceeding $3 billion in our Series D funding round. Established in 2017 in San Francisco, California, Anchorage Digital has expanded with offices in New York, New York; Porto, Portugal; Singapore; and Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

We are seeking a prospective Member to join our Enterprise Technology team specializing in IT Systems. The right candidate will be responsible for designing and upkeeping the enterprise technology infrastructure essential for the efficient operation of Anchorage Digital. This role involves the oversight of crucial systems such as Google Workspace, Kandji MDM, and the interconnected integrations to ensure a secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure. This position blends strategic system enhancements with hands-on support during peak periods or times requiring additional staff, leading to a pragmatic approach towards infrastructure improvements and daily operations. If you thrive on delving into SCIM provisioning one day and troubleshooting laptop deployments the next, this role offers the autonomy to craft meaningful solutions.

Key Responsibilities, Ownership, and Skills:

Technical Skills:

  • Manage configuration, optimization, and security enhancement of enterprise systems like Google Workspace, Kandji MDM, and key SaaS integrations.
  • Develop automated provisioning workflows utilizing SCIM, API integrations, and identity management platforms for streamlining user lifecycle processes.

Complexity and Impact:

  • Spearhead technical design and implementation of enterprise system integrations focusing on scalability, security, and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Oversee device management infrastructure comprising MDM policies, hardware provisioning workflows, and endpoint security configurations.

Organizational Knowledge:

  • Collaborate closely with Security and the broader Enterprise Technology teams for system audits, compliance adherence, and infrastructure enhancements.
  • Provide dependable systems administration and escalate technical support during peak times or when IT Support coverage is necessary.

Communication and Influence:

  • Actively listen to stakeholder requirements and translate them into technical solutions balanced among security, usability, and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute towards technical documentation, offer system architecture guidance, and engage in knowledge sharing to enhance the team's capabilities.

Being a fit for this position requires:

  • Over 4 years of experience managing enterprise identity and systems platforms (Google Workspace, Okta, Azure AD, etc.), with hands-on configuration expertise.
  • Strong proficiency in MDM platforms (Kandji, Jamf, Intune), including policy management, device provisioning, Chrome OS administration, and security configurations.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing SSO integrations (SAML, OIDC) and SCIM provisioning across various SaaS applications.
  • a solid track record in developing automations and integrations to reduce manual admin work, whether through APIs, scripting, or platform-native tools.
  • Willingness to assist with user-facing issues, adapting a practical approach towards balancing systems work and operational support requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in scripting or programming (Python, JavaScript, Bash) for personalized integrations and automation.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace API, Okta API, or other enterprise platform APIs for advanced automation.
  • Prior involvement in fintech, crypto, or heavily regulated industries.
  • Bonus points for an emotional connection with the Hamilton soundtrack, which recounts the establishment of a new financial system.

Our team, the Anchorage Village, unites top talents from platform security, financial services, and distributed ledger technology, striving to provide the foundational elements empowering institutions to safely engage with the evolving digital asset landscape. Within our diverse team of over 600 members, our collective goal focuses on constructing the future of finance by enabling the secure movement of value in the modern global economy.
