We are on the lookout for a seasoned business development leader to drive our go-to-market strategy for stablecoin issuance and banking solutions within the Middle East and/or Africa. This role will center on establishing strategic partnerships with key banks and enterprises in the region. The ideal candidate will showcase deep expertise in Foreign Exchange (FX), institutional lending, or correspondent banking to showcase how our platform can transform treasury operations, FX settlement, and inter-bank transactions. In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end deal lifecycle, foster C-level relationships, structure intricate commercial agreements, and act as a trusted consultant on digital asset integration. Critically, you will play a central role in advancing our stablecoin business in the region, collecting vital market insights to directly influence our global product roadmap, leveraging a well-established network within the financial sector to close significant deals.
Responsibilities:
- Drive: Spearhead the growth and success of Anchorage Digital in the digital currency realm by establishing valuable client relationships and monetizing stablecoin products and services.
- Advocate: Represent our stablecoin solutions, consolidating Anchorage Digital's reputation as a reliable partner for issuance and integration.
- Insights: Offer key client insights and market intelligence on stablecoin application scenarios to help shape our product roadmap and business strategy.
Qualifications:
- Expertise: In-depth technical understanding of blockchain and digital assets for addressing real-world inter-bank challenges.
- Network: Extensive contacts within the global banking and financial enterprise ecosystem in the Middle East or Africa.
- Familiarity: Know-how of current and prospective stablecoin issuers in the region and comprehension of the regulatory environment.
- Experience: Over 10 years in managing institutional client engagement from opportunity discovery to successful onboarding.
- Environment: Proficient in fast-paced startup environments.
- Skills: Excellent sales acumen and communication capabilities.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- In-depth Knowledge: Of global payments ecosystem and correspondent banking models with a focus on regional markets and regulatory frameworks.
- Language Skills: Professional proficiency in a relevant regional language is preferred.
