Currently, Anchorage Digital is seeking a motivated Member of Strategy & Growth to join their Porto team. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping and implementing the go-to-market strategy for Porto, the institutional self-custody solution offered by Anchorage Digital. This position emphasizes a hands-on, cross-functional approach, collaborating closely with various teams such as Sales, Product, Marketing, and Finance to steer Porto's growth in terms of client onboarding and revenue diversification.

Technical Skills:

  • Assist in refining Porto’s pricing models and commercial strategy for competitive positioning.
  • Utilize tools like Looker to generate reports and analyze data supporting key business decisions.
  • Perform in-depth market analysis to influence the product roadmap and Go-to-Market strategies.
  • Propose solutions to enhance data visibility and reporting accuracy, demonstrating proficiency in data-driven analysis.

Complexity and Impact of Work:

  • Contribute to defining and executing Porto’s growth strategy across various sectors within the crypto industry.
  • Lead operational aspects of Porto’s Featured dApp program, from partner acquisition to performance monitoring.
  • Develop compelling business cases for new products tying back to revenue growth driven by DeFi usage.
  • Collaborate with Sales on critical deals and customized pricing structures for institutional clients.

Organizational Knowledge:

  • Maintain an entrepreneurial mindset and deep interest in topics related to institutional self-custody, wallets, and DeFi.
  • Leverage industry networks within DeFi protocols, infrastructure providers, and asset management firms to foster strategic partnerships.
  • Act as a representative for Porto, fostering relationships with dApps, protocols, and ecosystem partners.

Communication and Influence:

  • Work closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Finance to align GTM strategies with revenue goals and KPIs.
  • Create internal resources like competitive intelligence materials and pricing frameworks to enable the sales team.
  • Support growth initiatives through collaborations with external partners and clear communication strategies.

Candidates for this role should possess:

  • 5–10+ years of experience in strategy, growth, or business development roles in fintech, crypto, or financial services.
  • Strong expertise in self-custody, wallets, or institutional crypto infrastructure.
  • In-depth knowledge of DeFi ecosystems, including protocols, market dynamics, and risk factors.
  • Proven track record in influencing pricing models and revenue strategies.
  • Ability to operate strategically and hands-on, adept at data analysis and insights generation.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey Porto’s value proposition effectively.

Bonus Points for:

  • Experience in institutional crypto platforms, exchanges, or custody providers.
  • Previous involvement in developing ecosystem programs like dApp marketplaces or referral models.
  • Familiarity with DAO governance, protocol economics, or BI tools such as Looker and Tableau.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL/Python for analytics or automation.
