Job Summary:
At Anchorage Digital, we are dedicated to revolutionizing the digital asset platform for institutional participation in the crypto market. We are seeking an individual who values code quality and thrives on collaborating closely with product and design teams. Success in this role entails developing reliable, maintainable software solutions that address real user needs, contributing not just by writing code but by influencing the product's trajectory.

Through our "Factors of Growth & Impact" framework, we cultivate a culture of learning and excellence within the engineering domain, emphasizing skill acquisition and development across four major areas:
Technical Skills:
Transition from executing defined tasks to independently designing solutions
Engage in all aspects of task execution, from planning to maintenance, across the full technical stack
Proactively enhance code quality, performance, and developer experience
Conduct code reviews to promote consistency and knowledge sharing within the engineering team
Complexity and Impact of Work:
Take charge of autonomous project management, overseeing intricate systems and workflows
Demonstrate proficiency in breaking down large projects into manageable tasks with accurate time and scope estimations
Articulate decision-making processes, trade-offs analysis, and priority setting effectively
Organizational Knowledge:
Familiarize yourself with how products, users, and business operations intersect
Facilitate knowledge sharing within the team to prevent dependency on individuals
Communication and Influence:
Collaborate closely with designers and engineers to co-create solutions, not just fulfill specifications
Engage in design and technical discussions actively, providing reasoned opinions
Foster cross-team communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building across different disciplines
The ideal candidate for this role should have:
- Prior experience in constructing distributed systems and web applications from inception
- Proficiency in Svelte, SvelteKit, or similar JavaScript frameworks
- Strong problem-solving abilities in dynamic environments
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Strong sense of ownership for ensuring quality and success in projects
