Middle Office Operations Analyst (Trading Platform)

We are seeking a skilled individual to join our dynamic team focused on designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining software for various venture projects tied to our core business. These projects are rapidly developed with a lean team, requiring active participation in designing components for scalable applications spanning frontend UI to backend infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily trade activities and data across diverse asset classes and exchanges.
• Conduct reconciliations between exchange data and internal risk or finance systems on a daily and intraday basis.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to trades, balances, and positions.
• Collaborate with Trading, Risk, and Engineering teams to address operational and data quality issues promptly.
• Manage the onboarding process for new accounts and instruments, ensuring proper validation of configurations, API keys, and mappings.
• Utilize internal systems to monitor trade flows and data quality metrics.
• Document incidents, perform root cause analyses, and ensure permanent resolutions.
• Participate in 24x7 support rotation across various regions to ensure continuous platform availability.
• Contribute to process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives to boost operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 3-7 years of experience in Middle Office, Trade Support, or Operations within trading environments.
• Proficient understanding of the front-to-back trade lifecycle and experience with multi-asset products.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently investigate data discrepancies.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and Excel for reconciliation and data analysis.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana and Kibana.
• Experience with ticketing and workflow systems like JIRA.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced trading environments demanding accuracy and attention to detail.
• Prior exposure to 24x7 production support operations is a strong plus.
• Proficiency in Python or scripting languages for automation and data validation is advantageous.
