Middle Office Operations Analyst (Trading Platform)

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our dynamic team responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing software for various venture projects. These projects are closely aligned with our core businesses and operate with lean teams, emphasizing speed and efficiency. As a key team member, you will play a crucial role in designing different components of scalable applications, spanning from frontend UI to backend infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily trade, balance, and position data for diverse asset classes and exchanges.
• Conduct daily reconciliations between exchange data and internal risk or finance systems.
• Investigate and address breaks concerning missing trades, incorrect balances, or outdated positions.
• Collaborate with Trading, Risk, and Engineering teams to resolve operational and data quality issues promptly.
• Oversee new account and instrument onboarding, ensuring accurate validation of all configurations, API keys, and mappings.
• Utilize internal systems for monitoring trade flows and data quality metrics.
• Document incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and ensure permanent resolutions are implemented.
• Participate in 24x7 support rotation across multiple regions to uphold platform availability.
• Contribute to process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• 3–7 years of experience in Middle Office, Trade Support, or Operations in trading, brokerage, or exchange environments.
• Proficiency in the front-to-back trade lifecycle and experience with multi-asset products.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for independent investigation of data discrepancies.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Excel, and monitoring tools like Grafana.
• Familiarity with JIRA or similar ticketing systems.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced trading environments with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Exposure to 24x7 production support or follow-the-sun operations is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Python or scripting for automation and data validation is a plus.
