Offchain Transaction Monitoring Analyst

Binance, a leading global blockchain ecosystem, is looking for detail-oriented and analytical individuals to join as Offchain Transaction Monitoring Analysts. The role involves ensuring transaction integrity and security on the platform by monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on transaction patterns to detect and prevent fraudulent activities as well as ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Investigate customer activities for detection of money laundering and potential risks.
• Analyze customer profiles and behavior to determine the need for further investigation.
• Conduct investigations into unconventional offchain transactions.
• Produce concise and comprehensive reports summarizing unusual activities and risk mitigation strategies.

Requirements:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in finance, computer science, law, or criminology.
• Possess at least 1 year of experience in AML/CTF transaction monitoring, ideally in fintech or cryptocurrency sectors.
• Have 1+ years of experience in AML/fraud investigations, particularly within fintech.
• Familiarity with blockchain monitoring/analytics tools such as Chainalysis, Elliptic, TRM, etc.
• Understanding of blockchain transactions and associated risks.
• Knowledge of regulatory developments within the Web3 industry, including MiCA.
• Proficient in conducting risk assessments and enhanced due diligence.
• Skilled in compliance functions and problem-solving.
• Results-oriented with high attention to detail and adaptability.
• Self-motivated, initiative-driven, and creative.
• Excellent communication skills for delivering value to business customers.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
