Description
Responsibilities:
Product Risk Management ("PRM"):
- Support in evaluating product risks and collaborate with Risk Owner to assess risk exposure in various Crypto products.
- Validate identified controls from product risk assessment and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
- Conduct risk assessment for new products and services.
Outsourcing Risk Management ("ORM"):
- Aid in maintaining the FSRA Outsourcing Register by accurately documenting all significant outsourcing agreements in alignment with regulatory standards.
- Assist in conducting vendor due diligence and continual third-party risk evaluations including assessment of concentration risk, BCP/DR readiness, and SLA sufficiency.
- Collaborate with the Outsourcing Workgroup to monitor remedial actions from vendor reviews and ensure timely closure of issues.
- Oversee crucial third-party dependencies and support regular review of sub-custodian contracts, concentration levels, and contingency plans.
Regulatory Engagement & Remediation ("REM"):
- Support in preparing and submitting regulatory reports to FSRA, including periodic disclosures, responding to ad-hoc RFIs, and updating progress on remediation activities.
- Assist in managing the FSRA RFI response log to ensure timely, accurate responses and track pending items.
- Coordinate remediation efforts stemming from regulatory findings by conducting root cause analyses, planning corrective actions, and compiling evidence for regulator follow-up.
- Prepare for FSRA on-site inspections, including agenda development, evidence collection, compiling walkthrough materials, and conducting pre-inspection readiness assessments.
- Track and report regulatory remediation progress to relevant committees.
- Maintain regulatory engagement schedule and ensure stakeholders are informed of upcoming obligations and deadlines.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years in financial services with expertise in compliance, risk management, project management, controls, or audit.
- Strong project management skills to handle multiple time-sensitive projects in a dynamic environment.
- Preference for backgrounds in management consulting or project management.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin to engage with international partners.
- Experience in operational risk management, internal/external audit, compliance, or IT security is beneficial.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
- Capacity to work well under pressure and meet deadlines consistently.
- Possess relevant certifications like CPA, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, or ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor.
