OTC Sales Trader Lead

We are currently seeking an OTC Sales Trader Lead to bolster the Binance OTC team. This role encompasses activities related to spot and derivatives OTC trading, electronic flows, agency execution, and API liquidity solutions. The OTC Sales Trader Lead will contribute significantly to expanding client outreach and facilitating trade flow expansion for the OTC desk.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the OTC trade lifecycle throughout ASIA hours, including providing clients with price quotations, executing trades, and addressing internal hedge requirements.
• Oversee the global coverage of OTC Sales Traders to ensure efficient operations and robust client relationships.
• Collaborate with Sales & BD teams to manage client origination and new trade capture processes.
• Drive the scaling up of new OTC product services and enhancing existing ones by working closely with product, quant, and development teams.
• Collaborate with the operations and backend teams to streamline middle and back office operations and reconciliation systems.
• Execute OTC product transactions spanning spot, derivatives, and fiat assets.
• Provide support for trade investigations, risk management, and post-trade analysis as necessary.

Requirements:

• Solid educational background in finance, engineering, or mathematics.
• Proven track record of over 8 years as an OTC Sales Trader in the financial or crypto industry, with demonstrated experience in team leadership.
• Experience in handling OTC transactions involving Spot & Fiat assets, with additional experience in Derivatives OTC sales as an advantage.
• Demonstrated expertise in agency execution trades (TWAP, etc.) and risk management.
• Strong analytical skills, team player mentality, resourcefulness, proactive approach, and ability to take initiative.
• Excellent communication abilities, business acumen, and comfort in engaging with a diverse global team across various functions and geographies.
• Experience with electronic OTC flows, structured products, or DeFi trading is desirable.
• Familiarity with Python and SQL is beneficial.
