P2P Networking Engineer
Logos is a movement that advocates for the development of the decentralized web. Logos technologies are designed to create a more open internet where communities can progress into network states. Each protocol within the Logos stack aims to empower users while upholding their civil liberties and fundamental freedoms.
Who we are
P2P networks form the core of decentralized technologies, with libp2p emerging as a leading P2P stack. The P2P R&D service unit, Vac, has successfully implemented a comprehensive libp2p stack powering the Nimbus Ethereum 2 client and Waku. Nim, an efficient and elegant programming language, is utilized in our implementation, including the development of nim-libp2p. In addition to implementing nim-libp2p, we are actively engaged in applied P2P research and contribute to the libp2p specification process.
The role
As the Lead P2P Engineer, you will lead a small team dedicated to advancing the nim-libp2p project and conducting libp2p-related research. Your responsibilities include building a collaborative and innovative team environment, ensuring timely project milestone delivery, active participation in the libp2p community, driving advancements in libp2p through research and practical implementations, collaborating with IFT project teams, possessing a deep understanding of the codebase, mentoring team members, and further developing the nim-libp2p architecture.
