Paid Social Director
As a seasoned individual skilled in paid social media marketing, you will oversee the strategic planning, implementation, and enhancement of global paid social campaigns on various platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, Twitter, and upcoming platforms. Your responsibilities include comprehensive strategy development, collaborating across different functions, and providing expertise in paid social media marketing. Managing impactful campaigns focused on driving user acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth for both web and app products is at the core of your role. Additionally, you will supervise, guide, and develop a team of paid social specialists to promote new strategies and industry best practices.
Responsibilities
- Devise and carry out top-tier paid search strategies to drive global user acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth primarily targeting English-speaking markets such as the US, UK, and Canada.
- Offer strategic guidance to UA stakeholders aligning paid social efforts with broader marketing goals.
- Work in coordination with leaders from various departments including organic marketing, creative, performance marketing, product, and analytics to create cohesive strategies.
- Lead the planning, implementation, and enhancement of extensive paid social campaigns across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, etc., aligning them with broader business objectives.
- Mentor and elevate a team of paid social experts, fostering a culture of excellence, creativity, and innovation.
- Provide hands-on guidance and training to team members for skill enhancement and career advancement.
- Act as the go-to authority on paid social, driving innovative strategies and best practices.
- Operationalize as an individual contributor while motivating the team for collective success.
- Manage resource allocation across platforms, regions, and campaigns strategically for maximum ROI.
- Continuously assess and enhance campaign performance using advanced techniques like A/B testing, audience segmentation, and creative experimentation.
- Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling ad content tailored to specific platform audiences and formats.
- Partner with the analytics team to implement attribution modeling and measure campaign impact effectively across touchpoints.
- Work closely with organic social and community management teams to ensure consistent social presence across channels.
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify areas for differentiation.
- Develop relationships with platform representatives for early access to beta features and insights.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or related fields.
- Demonstrated track record in scaling global paid social media efforts for web and app platforms.
- Experience in TradFi or Crypto, i-gaming, or sports is a bonus.
- Over 8 years of experience in paid social media marketing, including managing large-scale campaigns across multiple platforms.
- At least 3 years of experience in team management and mentorship, showcasing success in building and retaining high-performing teams.
- Profound understanding of paid social platforms, tools, and analytics systems.
- Strong analytical prowess to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Expertise in managing multi-million-dollar budgets and optimizing spend for optimal ROI.
- Proficiency in performance marketing strategies for English-speaking markets and global campaigns.
- Advanced grasp of audience targeting, conversion optimization, and creative testing strategies.
