Role Overview
We are seeking an AI Agent Engineer to be part of Tech Seeds 2026. In this role, you will collaborate with senior engineers to design and create AI agents, workflows, and internal AI systems that enhance our products and operational efficiency. This position is ideal for individuals who are inquisitive, quick learners, and enthusiastic about constructing practical AI systems in a production environment. The focus lies on designing production-ready agent systems, emphasizing tool integration, clear instructions, secure execution, and iterative implementation rather than theoretical models.
Key Responsibilities
- Create AI agent workflows and systems powered by LLM for practical business applications
- Develop and integrate various tools for agents, such as APIs, internal services, databases, and knowledge resources
- Enhance agent quality, performance, reliability, safety, and cost-effectiveness through testing and refinement
- Construct prompt structures, orchestration logic, memory patterns, and human interaction flows as required
- Collaborate with product, business, and operations teams to translate complex business challenges into viable AI solutions
- Contribute to backend services, internal platforms, and interfaces to support seamless product delivery
- Participate in defining reusable engineering methods, guidelines, and assessment strategies for AI agent development
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or related fields
- 0–3 years of experience in software engineering, AI engineering, or relevant internships/projects
- Strong proficiency in Java or Python, TypeScript, or backend development is advantageous
- Strong software engineering acumen, encompassing APIs, system design, debugging, and data management
- Eager interest in LLMs, AI agent systems, tool application, problem-solving, and production AI solutions
- Ability to quickly grasp new domains and operate efficiently in dynamic settings
- Effective communication skills with the ability to connect technical aspects with business objectives
Desired Qualifications
- Personal projects, hackathons, or internships involving LLM apps, AI agents, RAG, automation, or internal tools
- Familiarity with OpenAI APIs, Anthropic APIs, vector databases, agent frameworks, or orchestration tools
- Experience in backend systems, cloud environments, observability, or production support
- Exposure to fintech, crypto, customer support systems, operations workflows, or risk/compliance procedures
