Responsibilities:

Circle is seeking a Principal Analyst to join the Regulatory Assurance team and contribute to establishing a centralized global function dedicated to developing a top-tier compliance management system that supports all regional compliance functions. This pivotal role involves managing compliance risk through the appraisal, enhancement, and oversight of key compliance programs throughout Circle. Primarily serving as a critical second line of defense, you will spearhead the development and execution of Circle's Regulatory Change Management Program. Your responsibilities will encompass coordinating and supervising all regulatory changes, including identifying, assessing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with new or updated regulatory obligations. Additionally, you will define stakeholder roles and responsibilities, as well as deliverables and timelines to drive successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulating and executing the strategy, framework, and operations of the Regulatory Change Management Program.
  • Identifying and incorporating process improvements to enhance program efficiency.
  • Timely identification, tracking, assessment, and processing of all relevant regulatory changes within the program.
  • Establishing collaborative partnerships with diverse cross-functional teams, facilitating change comprehension, risk assessment, applicability mapping, and resolution of outstanding issues.
  • Effectively coordinating remediation efforts and escalating identified risks.
  • Generating reports related to the Regulatory Change Management Program.

Required Skills:

  • Over a decade of experience in compliance, regulatory, or related fields within the financial sector.
  • Profound knowledge and expertise in regulatory compliance program implementation and ongoing sustenance.
  • Track record of developing and executing comprehensive regulatory compliance change management programs.
  • Strong analytical capabilities concerning Laws, Rules, and Regulations.
  • Experience engaging with and presenting to cross-functional leaders.
  • Enthusiasm for financial technology and the disruptive nature of cryptocurrency and blockchain, coupled with teamwork, humor, and mentoring aptitude.
  • Comfort operating in a dynamic, evolving environment with multiple concurrent projects.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal guidance and also collaboratively within a team.
  • Familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS, and GSuite.

Additional Information:

  • This position is eligible for immediate PERM sponsorship for qualified candidates.

Our compensation structures are carefully crafted, considering a variety of factors including relevant experience, skillset, qualifications, and organizational needs. Compensation ranges may vary based on location.
  • Base Pay Range: $160,000-$207,500
  • Annual Bonus Target: 17.5%
  • Additional Benefits: Equity, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), flexible vacation policy, 10 paid sick leave days annually, and 11 paid holidays in the U.S.
