Product Designer (Exchange)

About the Role:

Crypto.com is seeking a Product Designer to collaborate with a close-knit team of designers on the Exchange platform across web and mobile interfaces. The role involves designing, testing, and enhancing a product targeted at enabling customers to engage in trading using advanced tools and information. The Exchange platform provides a more robust and time-sensitive experience compared to the core app, presenting unique constraints and design hurdles.

Each product designer at Crypto.com collaborates closely with product managers, engineers, and also functions as a research partner. They collectively contribute to a specific app vertical and work collaboratively to implement solutions within their teams.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the resolution of complex design challenges end-to-end, using customer insights and data analytics to conceptualize innovative solutions for new products and features.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, particularly engineers, to ensure a smooth transition from concept to iterative development and final product launch.
• Lead partnership efforts with product managers to guide the definition and evolution of the product roadmap, shaping the direction of Crypto.com offerings.
• Promote collaboration among designers company-wide to elevate overall design standards. Continuously improve design processes, principles, and tools to remain at the forefront of industry innovation.
• Utilize your extensive experience to mentor and guide other designers, fostering a growth-oriented and collaborative design team.

Requirements:

• Possess over 4 years of experience in designing digital products/services in a B2C environment.
• Demonstrate a strong portfolio featuring examples of digital product and service design.
• Exhibit an expert level of creating intuitive and engaging consumer-facing experiences for web and mobile platforms. Show a track record of delivering user-centric designs that enhance overall user experience.
• Analyze user journey with a focus on exceptional UX thinking. Exhibit expertise in visual design principles to ensure designs surpass aesthetic and functional expectations. Clear articulation of design rationale and strategy is essential.
• Display best practices in collaboration skills. Show experience excelling in collaborative environments by effectively partnering with engineers, user researchers, and product teams. Integration into cross-functional teams should be a testament to your expertise.
• Proficient with design tools, notably Figma and prototyping tools, for efficient translation of ideas into interactive prototypes to streamline the design iteration process.
