Product Director, Banking Engagement

The Mission

Your primary goal is to connect the realms of "Trading" and "Banking" by offering practical solutions that transform active traders into core users of banking services, establishing the platform as their central financial hub for cash liquidity. Through the seamless integration of fiat and stablecoin balances into a modernized neobank experience, the objective is to elevate the platform to a "Primary Account" status.

The Role

This influential leadership position calls for a dynamic Product Leader who excels in blending customer-focused strategies with data-centric growth initiatives. You will venture beyond traditional product management, fostering a culture of swift experimentation and utilizing AI to streamline prototyping and operational processes. Your mission is to enhance the banking experience, converting idle cash into an engaging daily routine for users.

Responsibilities

• Strategy & Engagement Leadership: Develop and implement the strategy for the Banking sector, overseeing the roadmap for accounts, liquidity utility, and everyday financial elements to optimize returns on investment.
• Engagement-First Roadmap: Define and lead the engagement KPIs for the banking domain, ensuring that each new feature enhances monthly active users and everyday financial utility.
• Data-Driven Experimentation: Cultivate a top-tier experimentation approach within your team to continuously test hypotheses related to user onboarding, activation, and retention to drive sustainable growth.
• AI-Forward Execution: Encourage the use of AI tools within the product management and design teams to expedite the build-measure-learn process and enhance operational efficiency.
• Banking Onboarding & CX: Manage the entire logic for banking onboarding, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable journey that transitions crypto-native users into active banking participants.
• Portfolio Management: Supervise the development of account experiences, expanding from basic wallet functionalities to advanced savings and cashflow management features.
• Stakeholder Orchestration: Collaborate closely with Engineering, UX, and Legal/Compliance teams to enhance the partnership, ensuring high-quality product releases in a fast-paced fintech environment.
• Team Coaching: Lead and mentor a small team of Product Managers, emphasizing a customer-centered and data-driven mindset across the organization.

Requirements

• Engagement & Activation Expert: Demonstrated leadership experience in product management within growing consumer fintech firms, neobanks, or digital marketplaces, known for driving user engagement and activation.
• Experimentation Native: Proficient in high-frequency A/B testing and leveraging data-driven approaches to manage products effectively.
• Customer Centricity: Possess a strong grasp of product design and track record of identifying and resolving customer pain points through intuitive user experiences.
• Strategic & Structured: Exceptional analytical and communication skills to translate a long-term vision into clear, measurable milestones.
• AI Utility Power-User: Skilled in leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and efficiency, and a proponent of modern prototyping techniques.
• Commercially Astute: Understand the significance of metrics like deposit retention and cross-selling in financial ecosystems.
• (Bonus point) Banking Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of neo-banking and payments landscape in the US and Europe, including industry frameworks and user expectations.

Compensation: $150,000 - $250,000 annually, with equity match options available based on the starting salary.
