Product Director, Banking Engagement
Our Product Management team is responsible for driving product initiatives from concept to launch, making significant impacts across our global operations. We work closely with cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, analysts, and marketers to deliver exceptional features and products.
Mission
Your objective is to connect "Trading" with "Banking," enhancing the platform's value to transition active traders into primary banking users. By integrating fiat and stablecoin balances seamlessly into a neobank experience, you aim to establish the platform as the go-to cash liquidity solution, achieving ecosystem-wide "Primary Account" status.
Role
This leadership position requires a Product Specialist who excels at balancing customer needs with data-driven growth strategies. You will champion a culture of rapid experimentation, utilizing AI technologies to accelerate prototyping and operational efficiencies. The ultimate goal is to transform "idle cash" into an engaging banking experience that users rely on daily.
Responsibilities
- Strategy & Engagement Leadership: Formulate and execute the strategy for the Banking segment, leading the development of account features, liquidity services, and everyday financial functionalities to drive optimal ROI.
- Engagement-First Roadmap: Set and uphold engagement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the banking vertical, ensuring that each product launch enhances Monthly Active Users (MAU) and everyday banking utility.
- Data-Driven Experimentation: Establish a robust experimentation culture within the team, continuously testing hypotheses related to user onboarding, activation, and retention to sustain incremental growth.
- AI-Forward Execution: Encourage the adoption of AI tools within the Product Management and design teams to expedite the build-measure-learn process and enhance operational efficiency.
- Banking Onboarding & CX: Manage the end-to-end banking onboarding process, ensuring a seamless and delightful journey that effectively converts crypto-native users into banking-active customers.
- Portfolio Management: Oversee the evolution of the accounts experience, incorporating core wallet utilities, advanced savings features, and cashflow management functionalities.
- Stakeholder Orchestration: Collaborate with Engineering, UX, and Legal/Compliance teams to enhance the collaboration model and facilitate the swift delivery of high-quality products within the fintech sector.
- Team Coaching: Lead and mentor a team of 2-3 Product Managers, fostering a customer-centric and data-driven mindset throughout the organization.
Requirements
- Engagement & Activation Expert: Minimum of 7-10 years of product leadership experience in consumer fintech, neo-banking, or digital marketplaces with a strong focus on driving user engagement and activation.
- Experimentation Native: Proficient in high-frequency A/B testing and adept at managing products through a data-driven approach to identify key insights.
- Customer Centricity: Demonstrated ability to understand and address customer pain points through intuitive User Experience (UX) design principles.
- Strategic & Structured: Possess exceptional structured thinking and communication skills, capable of breaking down long-term visions into actionable and measurable milestones.
- AI Utility Power-User: Skilled in leveraging AI tools to expedite tasks and expects team members to do the same, recognizing the efficiency gains associated with modern prototyping.
- Commercially Astute: Understanding the significance of deposit retention and cross-selling in financial ecosystems to drive strategic decision-making.
- (Bonus point) Banking Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the neo-banking and payments landscape in the US and Europe, encompassing industry rails, user expectations, and regulatory frameworks.
