About the Role:

This pivotal product leadership position plays a central role in the global trading engine at Crypto.com. As a Product Director for Core Banking & Payments, you will be responsible for devising the holistic product strategy for fiat pay-in and pay-out capabilities. This infrastructure facilitates the seamless movement of funds for Retail, Private, and Institutional clients on a global scale.

Reporting to the VP of Product, Banking, you will have direct ownership of orchestrating the Total Funds Flow, acceptance rates, settlement speeds, and cost efficiencies across all markets where Crypto.com operates.

Responsibilities:

Global Banking Network:

• Develop and enhance cross-border payment infrastructure across various markets, ensuring comprehensive coverage and uninterrupted service for fiat transactions.

Speed & Latency:

• Identify and integrate payment mechanisms based on transaction speed requirements to facilitate instant trading activities efficiently.

Liquidity & Settlement:

• Forge strategic banking partnerships to uphold continual liquidity for mass pay-outs and swift settlement protocols.

Acceptance Rate Optimization:

• Enhance pay-in acceptance rates through refining relationships with processors, fraud prevention measures, and compliance measures.

Strategic Bank Partnerships:

• Actively lead negotiations and technical integrations with key banks to secure favorable rates, dedicated service levels, and tailored solutions for trading businesses.

Payment Orchestration & Routing:

• Develop and govern the logic behind a dynamic routing engine that selects the most optimal payment channels in real-time based on various key factors.

Institutional On-Ramp:

• Construct compliant and scalable fiat payment solutions tailored for institutional clients, including segregated accounts, high-value wire processing, and bulk pay-out APIs.

Requirements:

• Experience:

• 7–10+ years of product leadership experience with a specific focus on payment infrastructure or core banking products.

• Demonstrated success in building and scaling cross-border payment network in high-volume, real-time environments.

• Proven track record in direct bank integrations, successful commercial partnerships, and leading payment orchestration initiatives.

• Strong background in developing fiat solutions for institutional clients within trading or fintech sectors.

• Skills:

• Proficient in complex API products, data flows, and payment protocol integrations.

• Hands-on experience in core banking platforms and payment scheme integrations such as SWIFT, SEPA, ACH, etc.

• Demonstrated expertise in collaborating with bank partners, PSPs, and acquiring processors.

• Strong people management skills and adept at stakeholder engagement.
