Product Director - Payment & Banking

Our Product Management team is responsible for driving product initiatives from conception to completion, launching products and features globally. This role involves close collaboration with engineers, designers, analysts, marketers, and other team members to deliver exceptional products.

About the role:

The Cash team focuses on managing money movement and transfers, working with various financial institutions to facilitate seamless money transfers for our users across our platform. We are seeking an experienced Product Director with a visionary approach and hands-on capabilities to lead the development of an innovative platform that transforms the way users handle their finances. A deep understanding of US banking regulations and practices is highly advantageous for this role, particularly with a focus on US partners.

Job Responsibilities:

• Expertise in Treasury Product, specifically structuring banking partnerships for continuous liquidity to support mass user pay-outs and instant trading.

• Proven track record in enhancing transaction acceptance rates across payment methods through optimizing processor relationships, fraud rules, and compliance checks.

• Leading negotiations and technical integrations for direct bank partnerships to secure favorable rates and customized solutions.

• Designing a dynamic routing engine for efficient payment orchestration based on user profiles, jurisdictions, currencies, transaction speeds, and risk factors.

• Developing scalable fiat payment solutions tailored for institutional clients, such as high-value wire processing and bulk pay-out APIs.

• Key focus on reducing latency in time-to-funding/withdrawal, enhancing pay-in acceptance rates, and optimizing cost-per-transaction margins.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 10+ years in product leadership with a specialization in cross-border payment infrastructure.
• Consideration for candidates with less experience as Principal/Lead roles.
• Demonstrated proficiency in selecting payment rails for speed optimization to meet trading requirements.
• Ability to understand technical APIs and translate them into user impact.
• Data-driven approach with a user-centric perspective.
• Dedication to building exceptional customer products and experiences.
• Strong work ethic with a proactive attitude towards meeting deadlines and goals.
• Proficiency in managing C-level stakeholders and communicating prioritization decisions.
