Offchain Labs has developed cutting-edge scaling solutions for Ethereum, including Arbitrum, an Optimistic Rollup technology enhancing app scalability on Ethereum with reduced costs and increased capacity while maintaining security. Without requiring code changes, Arbitrum seamlessly ports contracts by being compatible with existing Ethereum developer tools. As a leader in Ethereum scaling solutions, Arbitrum hosts numerous apps and substantial rollup liquidity shares. Offchain Labs actively contributes to the Ethereum core protocol through projects like the Prysm consensus client.

Joining the Offchain Labs Product team offers an opportunity to work alongside blockchain industry leaders on inventive technical, economic, and social challenges. As a team member, you will play an integral role in driving the roadmap for Arbitrum Nitro, a pioneering blockchain scaling solution. Collaboration with backend engineers, researchers, and senior leaders, such as our CTO and Head of Product, will be a key aspect of this role.

What You’ll Do:

• Execute a roadmap focused on scalability and innovation, prioritizing impactful changes ranging from bandwidth enhancements to embracing EIPs/RIPs and introducing groundbreaking technologies.
• Collaborate with the Research team to translate breakthroughs into actionable product changes or new products, incorporating feedback into the exploration process.
• Identify and define technical and non-technical requirements ensuring ongoing product success, from documentation to ecosystem infrastructure and detailed front-end aspects.
• Guide our engineering teams strategically, sourcing and synthesizing feedback to prioritize development based on user input, market dynamics, and technical considerations.
• Support marketing and partnerships teams in delivering technically sound messaging for product launches and protocol updates.

Who You Are:

• Experienced professional with 3-5 years in a PM role or a similar technical capacity.
• Blockchain enthusiast with a strong knowledge or keen interest in blockchain technologies.
• Exceptional communicator with profound written and verbal skills fostering effective collaboration across all levels of an organization.
• Possess a blend of technical expertise and business acumen, capable of immersive technical analysis while focusing on broader business goals.
• Agile team player thriving in ambiguous environments, taking ownership when required.
• Capable of making informed decisions under uncertainty, converting ambiguity into actionable plans, and adept at acquiring, organizing, and responding to new information.
• Have practical experience in software development, infrastructure, or blockchain applications through personal or professional projects.
• Background in Computer Science or an Engineering field, or hands-on experience building software products.
• Strong track record of delivering production-grade software, particularly for developer-focused audiences. Familiarity with software development processes is essential.
• Experience in a protocol team within blockchain or within distributed systems as a technical contributor is advantageous.
