Product Manager - Developer Experience

Our Developer Experience (DX) team is in search of a skilled Product Manager to drive the creation of top-notch tools and resources for developers constructing applications on the Internet Computer.

As a Product Manager focused on Developer Experience, you will have a crucial role in comprehending developer requirements, outlining product strategies, and introducing innovative solutions that enable developers to unleash the full capabilities of the Internet Computer. If you excel in product management, developer advocacy, and cutting-edge blockchain technology, this role provides a chance to have a significant impact on the decentralized web's future.

This is a hybrid-onsite role located in our upcoming office in San Francisco.

Responsibilities:

• Develop the product vision and roadmap for the developer experience at DFINITY.
• Advocate for the developers by integrating user feedback to incorporate improvements into the ICP Software Development Kits (SDKs).
• Work together with the community and various teams across DFINITY to enhance ICP capabilities.
• Define clear success metrics for different developer tools in alignment with stakeholders and considering short- and long-term goals.
• Cultivate a collaborative and innovative culture within the team, encouraging idea generation and problem-solving to continually enhance developer platforms.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Product Management experience.
• In-depth understanding of developer experience and/or productivity.
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, tooling, and patterns.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering and scaling platform products while comprehending the building of seamless developer tools and processes.
• Ability to shape high-level strategic initiatives and also focus on detailed execution to drive results.
• Capacity to evaluate tough technical tradeoffs, focusing on short-term outcomes versus long-term impact.
• Ability to make decisions in ambiguous situations or with competing priorities when complete data is lacking.

Base Salary Range: $150,000 - $235,000 per year.

This role is applicable across multiple levels, and total compensation at DFINITY comprises base salary and a generous bonus, determined by factors like job level, expertise areas, educational background, geographic location, and overall experience.
