Quality Assurance Field Technician - Pittsburgh

Job Summary:

Bitcoin Depot seeks a capable individual to fill the role of a Quality Assurance Field Technician specifically for the Pittsburgh area. The primary duty involves meticulously assessing existing BTM locations through routine inspections, installations, and repairs to guarantee uninterrupted functionality for BTMs in facilitating transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel outside the home market for up to 75% of working time to service, inspect, install, and repair BTMs
• Develop and enforce quality assurance policies and procedures
• Conduct routine assessments and testing of products to adhere to BTM standards
• Prepare and set up BTMs before installation
• Physically install BTMs at approved locations
• Fit and display relevant signage and marketing material at designated spots
• Persistently maintain BTMs through service, preventative maintenance, and replenishment of supplies in line with set guidelines
• Train customers and third-party vendors remotely and in person
• Gather precise information from merchant sites as necessary
• Produce training guides and operational manuals
• Continuously document quality assurance tasks and prepare regular operational reports 
• Report technical issues resolution to the Tech Support Manager
• Aid team members and handle miscellaneous duties assigned occasionally

Qualifications and Experience:

• Pittsburgh residency is a must
• A minimum of three years of experience within the ATM or BTM industry
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders
• Methodical problem-solving approach aligned with set procedures 
• Intermediate or higher proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets 
• Demonstrated expertise in handling multiple prominent tasks with adaptability in a dynamic work environment
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Physical Demands:

• This role involves physical activities such as bending, climbing, lifting, driving, standing, and walking
• Capability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and use a dolly for moving BTM machines and equipment
