**Role

As a Racing Analyst within our expanding Sportsbook team, this role ties in with the growth of our recently launched Racing product. You will play a pivotal role in the product's evolution by effectively analyzing data, showcasing risk management abilities, demonstrating customer profiling skills, and managing site content through optimization and quality control. This full-time permanent position will involve reporting directly to our Racing Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply expertise in the three racing codes and their industries, along with key player knowledge.
  • Ensure meticulous data collection, input, and analysis with a focus on accuracy.
  • Utilize diverse technology platforms and software to manage and analyze data efficiently.
  • Effectively communicate insights and predictions to third-party providers and team members.
  • Generate precise reports on racing events and trends for both internal and external use.
  • Manage site content, including optimization and quality control.
  • Be open to shift work, covering irregular hours to provide analysis during racing events.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years' industry experience in a trading or analytical role.
  • Preference for a university degree, although not mandatory.
  • Additional analytical qualifications or courses are a plus.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical understanding of betting and odds.
  • Excellent communication skills for conveying insights effectively.
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a shift-based environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in the Sports & Gambling industry.
  • Knowledge of the Cryptocurrency industry.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite, Slack, Jira, Intercom.
  • Experience with Tableau is advantageous.
