The Sales Manager position at Nansen entails steering the go-to-market strategy within a new territory and offering. The primary responsibilities revolve around establishing rapport with institutional investors and funds, introducing them to the suite of products and services provided by Nansen. Preferably, the ideal candidate would be based in Singapore or in a location operating within a similar timezone.
Responsibilities:
- Market Entry Strategy: Crafting and executing a comprehensive market entry strategy for the new territory, including segment identification and client prospecting.
- Client Acquisition: Identifying, targeting, and securing institutional investors and funds to establish a robust pipeline of potential clients.
- Relationship Management: Fostering and nurturing strong relationships with key figures and stakeholders within the investment sector.
- Sales Leadership: Overseeing the sales process from initial engagement to contract negotiation and closure, ensuring alignment with client requirements and business objectives.
- Collaboration: Close coordination with marketing and product teams to tailor offerings according to market demands and client expectations.
- Performance Tracking: Delivering regular progress reports and adjusting strategies when necessary to meet business targets.
- Market Intelligence: Gathering and evaluating market data, including competitor activities and customer feedback, to guide strategic decisions and product enhancements.
Requirements:
- Experience: Demonstrated success in sales roles with prior experience in either selling to, or managing relationships with crypto funds.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal proficiencies; ability to articulate complex information clearly and convincingly.
