Responsibilities:
- Review and manage allocated Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) cases promptly while advising stakeholders on necessary actions
- Maintain logs for SAR escalations and ensure timely resolution of escalated cases
- Manage client off-boarding process and maintain related logs
- Promptly escalate cases requiring further investigation or guidance to appropriate team leads and MLROs
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance quality, accuracy, and consistency of SARs
- Proficiency in compliance tools like Chainalysis, TRM, Elliptic, etc.
- Possess a solid understanding of relevant local laws, regulations, and virtual currency policies
- Engage in internal and external programs related to Anti-Money Laundering/Counter Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT)
- Participate in general administrative tasks related to the job role as per organizational requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3-5 years of experience in investigations, SAR filing, or audit/regulatory roles within financial institutions or fintech companies
- Ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail, action-oriented, and a commitment to high standards
