We are looking for a skilled individual to join our team as a Security Compliance & Awareness Engineer. You will play a pivotal role in creating, implementing, and overseeing internal security awareness and knowledge programs that are crucial for instilling a robust security culture within the organization. This will involve developing training materials, managing security awareness campaigns, and ensuring the organization maintains detailed documentation.
Your ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with various departments, including Legal and Engineering teams, will be essential for this position.
Responsibilities:
Security Awareness Program Management:
- Design, deliver, and maintain an engaging internal security awareness program using specific tools.
- Develop phishing simulation campaigns to test and enhance employees' resilience against social engineering threats.
- Customize training modules to address distinct security challenges and compliance obligations.
Knowledge Management & Documentation:
- Organize and update security documentation to make it easily accessible for all employees.
- Create and manage comprehensive security guides, FAQs, and support materials for awareness initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align documentation with compliance standards.
Collaboration with Stakeholders:
- Partner with Legal, Engineering, and Product teams to integrate compliance and security requirements into training content.
- Serve as a link between the Security Operations team and employees to handle security-related queries.
Compliance Support:
- Ensure that training and awareness initiatives conform to regulatory and organizational compliance standards.
- Monitor and report on employee participation in security training to demonstrate compliance levels.
Continuous Improvement:
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training and awareness campaigns and refine future programs based on feedback and metrics.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging threats to update and improve security awareness content.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in security awareness, training, or compliance.
- Proficient in using Learning Management Systems and awareness tools.
- Prior experience managing phishing simulations and evaluating their impact.
- Sound knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals and common threats.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities for managing documentation and tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as GDPR and SOC 2.
