We are looking for a dynamic and knowledgeable individual to fill the role of a Security IT Operations - AI Champion. The primary focus of this position is to lead the integration of AI solutions into our IT operations, particularly emphasizing on enhancing security measures. The ideal candidate will need to have a strong background in IT operations, a thorough understanding of security protocols, and hands-on experience in applying AI and machine learning technologies to resolve real-world issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead the evaluation, implementation, and optimization of AI-powered solutions to streamline IT operations and strengthen security measures, including predictive threat analysis, anomaly detection, and automated security workflows.
• Collaborate with IT Operations teams to ensure smooth and secure operations aligned with business requirements, emphasizing a security-by-design approach.
• Assist in standardizing IT operations globally, working with regional teams to unify processes and implement stringent security measures.
• Act as a primary point of contact for escalating and resolving IT Operations issues, with a specialized focus on identifying and mitigating security risks, and managing security projects like implementing advanced threat detection tools.
• Oversee vulnerability management processes, including the identification, testing, and deployment of patches and updates, with a commitment to timely remediation of vulnerabilities.
• Advocate for a security-first culture by promoting proactive risk assessments, vulnerability management, and adherence to industry best practices.
• Participate in vendor management, resource allocation, and operational planning, ensuring that security considerations are prioritized.
• Assist in tracking and reporting inventory, project statuses, and operational metrics, guaranteeing compliance with security policies and standards.
• Provide after-hours support for critical IT Operations issues, maintaining a secure operational environment.

Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency with AI tools, machine learning models, and automation platforms, with experience in applying AI solutions to IT operations and security.
• Strong technical background in system installation, configuration, and analysis, with an emphasis on system security, mobile device management, and modern IT infrastructure.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively while incorporating security at every stage of project execution.
• Excellent communication skills for facilitating collaboration across teams and regions.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing operational and security challenges.
• A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

Preferred Skills (Optional but Highly Valuable)

• Extensive knowledge of security best practices, vulnerability management, incident response, and security frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools in IT operations, and skills in scripting/programming languages for security automation.
• Familiarity with threat modeling, risk assessments, and incident response procedures.
• Understanding of zero-trust architecture.
