Security Site Lead - Jackson, TN
The Security Site Lead is responsible for the supervision of a location’s security staff to ensure the safety and security of the premises, personnel, and visitors. Reporting directly to the Security Field Supervisor, this role involves coordinating personnel, monitoring equipment, and overseeing the team to resolve incidents and implement preventative measures against theft to uphold order within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Supervision
Supervise and manage daily activities of security officers on-site to ensure compliance with policies and performance standards.
Provide clear guidance and direction to security personnel, fostering a cohesive and motivated team environment.
Conduct regular briefings and debriefings to communicate expectations, updates, and feedback to the security staff.
Assist in the training and onboarding process for new security officers, ensuring familiarity with site-specific protocols.
Conduct regular checks on Security Camera Systems and equipment functionality.
Review and report activity based on Daily Activity Reports in adherence to SOP.
Perform routine inspections to identify and address any violations of protocols.
Coordinate shift schedules to ensure proper coverage and deployment of security personnel.
Cover security staff openings when needed.
Complete incident reports and submit them as per established procedures.
Access Control
Monitor and control access to facilities, allowing only authorized personnel.
Conduct thorough checks of identifications and credentials at entry points.
Ensure up-to-date usage of communication tools for visitors.
Surveillance
Utilize surveillance equipment to monitor activities within and around the premises.
Promptly report and document any suspicious incidents through Daily Activity Reports.
Patrol and Inspection
Conduct routine facility patrols to deter security threats.
Perform regular inspections to address potential risks.
Emergency Response
Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, or security incidents.
Collaborate with emergency services and adhere to established protocols for different scenarios.
Customer Service
Provide professional and courteous assistance to all individuals.
Address inquiries and offer directions when necessary.
Report Writing
Maintain detailed logs of security activities.
Complete incident reports accurately and submit them as required.
Review all incident reports for accuracy and completeness.
Collaboration
Work closely with other security personnel and relevant departments to ensure a cohesive security program.
Efficient communication with team members and management regarding security matters.
Qualifications
2 years of Security, Law enforcement, or military experience.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training is beneficial.
Previous experience in security or related roles.
Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to remain composed and handle emergency situations effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Basic computer skills for logging and reporting.
Physical fitness for extended security duties.
Additional Requirements
Valid State Security Guard License.
Valid State Driver's License.
Honorable discharge from military service preferred.
First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to clear a Nationwide Background Check.
