Description
Data intelligence team centered around engineering, analytics, product development, data science, and business intelligence. They work with large data sets, utilizing Big Data to extract vital insights for informed business decisions.
About the Role:
As a Business Analyst within the Data Product team, your role is pivotal in ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility. You collaborate closely with various teams to gather, analyze, and maintain data, facilitating well-informed decisions and propelling business growth. Additionally, you contribute to designing and developing the data warehouse, a product used by business users through big-data infrastructure. Implementing algorithms to maintain data integrity is also a part of your hands-on responsibilities as business users rely on this data for their operations.
Responsibilities
- Designing, implementing, and managing master data and customized datasets with a focus on accuracy, scalability, and reliability
- Working with stakeholders from different sectors to collect data analytics and reporting requirements
- Developing and supporting analytical data models
- Creating effective analytics reports and visualizations
- Providing assistance with other occasional reports
Requirements
- A postgraduate degree in computer science, mathematics, finance, statistics, economics, or related quantitative fields
- Minimum of 2 years experience in data analytics and BI reporting
- Proficiency in ETL processes and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI
- Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and intricate business data logic
- Sound knowledge of Database, Big Data, and Data modeling principles
- Capability to build end-to-end automated solutions
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, agile work environment
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and adept at working independently and collaboratively
