Role Responsibilities:
As a senior team member reporting to the VP of the Creative Lab, you will steer high-impact website projects and content initiatives that align with Circle's Marketing objectives. Your key responsibilities include:
Key Tasks:
- Sculpting a compelling storytelling approach for our website, ensuring a seamless user experience and coherent narrative structure across all pages.
- Spearheading content ideation and strategy for ongoing expansion and enhancement of the website, prioritizing user-centric content requirements.
- Crafting UX copy for functional web components like navigation menus and customer engagement interfaces.
- Collaborating closely with design and engineering teams to establish content hierarchy, narrative paths, and more.
- Overseeing and mentoring an IC Content Strategist, dynamically expanding their skills and fostering the growth of the Content Strategy domain within the Marketing realm and beyond.
- Coordinating with internationalization teams to maintain high-quality product representations on Circle's platforms and in marketing endeavors across varying languages and regions.
- Developing comprehensive content guidelines to drive consistent, compelling, and on-brand content creation by internal stakeholders.
- Taking charge of global taxonomy documentation and refining content tagging systems to boost content, search, and SEO efficacy.
- Providing writing solutions for diverse content needs, ranging from website creation to social media, events, campaigns, and more.
- Contributing to intranet content strategy in collaboration with stakeholders from Marketing and IT sectors.
- Building solid relationships with a range of internal partners from marketing, product, engineering, policy, communications, and legal departments.
- Leveraging your writing prowess, UX expertise, and front-end tech acumen to create product content that enhances user understanding and engagement.
- Engaging with other leadership peers in the Creative Lab and Marketing teams during planning processes, allocating resources effectively based on predefined objectives.
- Conducting thorough content audits across relevant platforms to identify enhancement opportunities and uphold consistency.
Essential Attributes:
- Over 12 years of content strategy experience, including brand marketing and agency management roles.
- Demonstrated leadership capability with a minimum of 5 years in marketing leadership roles.
- Bachelor's degree required, Master’s degree considered advantageous.
- Strong executive presence with influencing skills crucial for engaging diverse stakeholders.
- Sharp critical thinking abilities with excellent written and oral communication skills for effective storytelling.
- Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and bring order to complex situations.
- Passion for exploring the potential of emerging technologies like cryptography and blockchain in reshaping financial landscapes.
- Familiarity with various tools and platforms, such as Slack, Coda, Asana, Apple MacOS, and GSuite.
- Expertise in content design for web, email, and product interfaces, with focus on scalability.
- Proficiency in systems thinking for organizing content inclusively and with global reach.
- Sound understanding of web design and SEO practices for ecommerce and SaaS sectors.

- Compensation Case: Tailored compensation packages comprising base pay well-established within a range of $220,000 to $275,000 along with a 25% annual bonus target, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
