Ledger has brought to life Ledger Live, an application that enables users to manage all their blockchain-backed assets. Utilizing React.js (Electron for Desktop and React Native for Mobile), its multi-blockchain support extends to coins, NFTs, DApps integration, and SDK offerings for third-party integration. The application, which interfaces with our hardware wallets, is developed by specialized teams focusing on distinct software functionalities.
To support our company's growth, we are seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer to join the Wallet Experience business unit. In the Live Hub team, your primary responsibility will be to construct and maintain the user interface flows for portfolio and account management.
Your key obligations include:
- Oversight of desktop and mobile Ledger Live Applications development.
- Collaboration with developers, QA, designers, and product teams within Ledger Live.
- Proposing technical solutions and taking initiative.
- Feature development adhering to best practices from unit to end-to-end testing.
- Participation in code reviews.
- Ensuring the quality of Ledger's UI/UX framework.
- Fostering tech growth and mentoring team members to uphold high standards.
- Exclusive focus on Open Source projects consolidated within our monorepo.
Key qualifications that we are looking for:
- Minimum 3 years of software development experience.
- A curious and positive mindset for seamless teamwork.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Extensive experience in React.js development with adeptness in tools and libraries.
- Sound knowledge of testing strategies.
- Familiarity with UI/UX practices in software development.
Nice-to-have qualifications:
- Proficiency in React Native and/or Electron.
- Exposure to Web3 topics and technical stacks.
- Maintenance experience with a library of shared components.
