Senior/ Lead Blockchain Protocol Engineer

We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team focused on designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing software for various projects adjacent to our core business. As part of our lean and fast-moving team, you will play a vital role in designing scalable applications, covering components from frontend UI to backend infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Engage in development activities encompassing proposing architectural decisions, design participation, code reviews, and implementation
• Identify and resolve complex issues within the blockchain protocol
• Collaborate closely with operations and infrastructure teams to develop high-scale backend services
• Manage documentation for all code and functionalities implemented
• Cooperate with DevOps and ecosystem engineers to enhance the technology stack for long-term projects

Requirements:

• Passion for constructing top-notch products to address real-world challenges
• Proficient in various technologies, quick to learn, and possess an action-oriented mindset
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with an ability to navigate conflicting requirements from diverse stakeholders
• Willingness to accept constructive input from others, driven to innovate and improve, open to challenges and fresh possibilities
• Self-driven and capable of defining and executing tasks independently with minimal guidance
• Open to learning, collaborative in nature, and receptive to feedback
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience, ideally with a strong background in backend development (e.g., Go, Rust)
• Practical experience with basic cryptographic primitives (e.g., digital signatures, key exchange) and distributed systems knowledge
• Familiarity or interest in languages like Go or Rust, as well as hands-on exposure to blockchain system internals (preferred but not mandatory)

Bonus Skills:

• Contribution to open-source blockchain projects
• Research background in blockchain and/or cryptography
• Experience in Cosmos SDK or Ethereum core development
