Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance the existing AWS infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.

• Design and oversee CI/CD pipelines for deployment processes across various environments.

• Provide support to engineering teams on SRE-related tasks, including troubleshooting, monitoring, incident response, and performance tuning.

• Collaborate with developers to establish infrastructure for new projects and services.

• Work closely with security and risk teams to ensure adherence to best practices and timely security issue mitigation.

• Monitor AWS bills closely and optimize infrastructure costs continuously.

• Contribute to automation efforts, tooling improvements, and overall DevOps strategy.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of IT/software engineering experience, with at least 5 years focused on DevOps.

• Strong knowledge of AWS, with preference for certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.

• Proficiency in Terraform is essential.

• Development background is preferred, along with expertise in at least one major programming language.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like AWS Codepipeline, Jenkins, ArgoCD, etc.

• Deep understanding of Kubernetes and AWS EKS.

• Solid grasp of SRE concepts, monitoring, and observability tools.

• Experience supporting rapid product development and ability to work effectively in a startup environment.

• Understanding of security best practices, including secrets management and least privilege.

• Bonus points for experience with blockchain infrastructure and deployments.

• Bonus points for familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
