Responsibilities:
We are seeking a proficient Data Science and Analytics Manager to oversee the data analysts and scientists engaged in Circle's developer products segment and marketing initiatives. Leading a team of roughly five to ten members, this role involves managing the data analysts responsible for reporting outcomes to product and marketing teams. You will collaborate with data scientists to analyze the developer ecosystem and evaluate the impact of marketing campaigns. This role requires varied management skills to guide team members at multiple stages of their careers. You will also interact with cross-functional partners to support data-informed decision-making for optimal business outcomes.
Primary Duties:
- Spearhead data analytics and data science endeavors for developer products and marketing.
- Ensure the output of your team is technically robust, impactful, and aligns with Circle's business objectives. This includes facilitating effective communication of results within the team.
- Provide constructive feedback to enhance team performance and foster individual growth.
- Act as a trusted partner to product, engineering, business development, and marketing teams, contributing to optimal decision-making within Circle.
- Establish efficient rituals and structures to facilitate a well-organized and impactful team.
- Collaborate with other data leaders to build a best-in-class data team.
Key Qualifications:
- Over 7 years of experience in data analysis or data science, with a minimum of 3 years managing reporting and analytics/data science functions.
- Proficiency in SQL and proficiency in either R or Python for data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage data for truthful insights, irrespective of convenience.
- Skilled at cross-functional collaboration.
- Expertise in providing timely, direct feedback to empower team members in improving.

- Competitive compensation packages consider factors like experience, skills, and business needs. Salary range starts at $205,000 to $265,000, with a 17.5% annual bonus target, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
