Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced Data Science and Analytics Manager to oversee teams focusing on Circle's developer products and marketing efforts. Leading a team of approximately five to ten individuals, you will manage data analysts supporting product and marketing teams, collaborate with data scientists to analyze the developer ecosystem, and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies. As a seasoned manager, you will possess diverse management skills to guide team members at various career stages towards professional growth. You will also forge partnerships with cross-functional teams to facilitate informed decision-making and influence product and marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Spearhead data analytics and data science initiatives for the developer products and marketing domains.
• Ensure the team's work is technically robust, impactful, and aligns with Circle's business objectives by facilitating clear result communication.
• Provide constructive feedback to enhance team performance and foster individual development.
• Act as a trusted ally for product, engineering, business development, and marketing teams to optimize decision-making processes.
• Establish efficient team rituals and structures for seamless operation and significant impact.
• Collaborate with other data leaders to drive the growth of a top-tier data team.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in data analysis or data science, with at least 3 years managing reporting functions and analytics/data science teams.
• Proficiency in SQL and one programming language (e.g. R or Python) for data manipulation and analysis.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to truthfulness in data analysis.
• Strong cross-functional partnership abilities.
• Proven ability to provide timely and candid feedback to support team improvement.

Additional Information:

This role offers day-one PERM sponsorship for eligible candidates. Compensation is determined based on factors like experience, skills, and organizational needs, with a base pay range of $205,000 - $265,000 and an annual bonus target of 17.5%. Additional benefits include equity and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with a 401(k) plan.
