Currently aiding a global industry leader in industrial process controls, Ubiminds is seeking a talented Senior MES Engineer. You will lead comprehensive MES implementations, overseeing configuration, data modeling, and system integration within industrial settings. Collaboration with teams in LATAM and the US is key to delivering scalable manufacturing solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and actively participate in MES implementation projects, guiding the process from requirements gathering to design, configuration, testing, commissioning, and go-live support.
• Architect TraKsys modules focusing on data collection, OEE and downtime tracking, quality assurance, production tracking, traceability, and more to align with industry-recognized standards.
• Configure TraKsys modules, enhance dashboards for real-time insights, and develop custom logic while ensuring system stability and performance optimization.
• Integrate TraKsys with various OT/IT systems like PLCs, SCADA, ERP, and ensure seamless data flow in production environments.

Required Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience with TraKsys MES configuration and deployment (minimum 3 years preferred).
• Proficiency in SQL Server, manufacturing processes, OEE, ISA-95 structures, and understanding of PLCs, OPC communications, and SCADA/HMI interfaces.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities across OT/IT systems with excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
• Additional experience in industries like food & beverage, chemical, or life sciences is a plus.

Additional Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Python, C#, .NET, or script-based customization.
• Experience integrating MES with ERP systems and knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in industrial environments.
• Previous experience in delivering engineering services or consulting solutions is advantageous.
