Overview
Our client, a prominent industry player in the APAC region, is in search of a dedicated Technical Manager focused on mobile technology. This role involves spearheading new initiatives within the team.
Responsibilities
- Lead and build the Mobile Team to create and implement processes, standards, and tools for mobile application development.
- Conduct code refactoring to enhance performance.
- Collaborate with various teams to translate user and business requirements into efficient frontend code.
- Conduct code reviews, share best practices, and ensure feature quality for release.
- Contribute to designing and executing innovative products.
- Enhance features by incorporating feedback from both engineering and end-user viewpoints.
Requirements
- Hold a degree in computer science, information technology, or related fields with a minimum of 2 years of experience in team leadership.
- Proficient in a modern programming language such as Kotlin, Java, Swift, or Objective-C.
- Familiarity with Android UX and development best practices is advantageous.
- Experience in app architecture patterns like MVP, MVVM, Clean Architecture is a plus.
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies including CI and Scrum.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proactive and self-motivated, with a teamwork-oriented and independent mindset.
